AW13 Trends: Prints

Autumn/Winter has just begun and we’re all snatching fashion mags off the shelves and surfing the internet for this season’s hottest trends. Can’t deny it, I’ve spent days researching about what’s hot and what’s not from prints to colours to textures and even cuts so I decided to share all these trends with you one blog post at a time. Dedicating the first to prints.

Camouflage

The Camouflage print is one of the hottest prints of the season & was seen on the runway in more than 4 shows. Even though camouflage is there to hide people its actually standing them out with unusual colours. Christopher kane used red, Michael kors used blue, and Rebecca Minkoff used emerland.

Leopard

When were animal prints ever out?! If Burberry and Jean Paul Gaultier say its in, its in! Its the easiest print to wear since its there all year long. Style leopard with classics, basic shades of beige and black.

Floral

If there is any print you find on the runway EVERY season its floral! Taken from spring/summer vibrant florals and changed to warm colored romantic florals for autumn/winter. From Christopher Kane & Roberto Cavalli to Clements Ribeiro & Vera Wang. A touch of nature is always a must to maintain the natural glam.
